Women Spend More Time On Their Smartphone Than With Their Partner
Long Story Short
Smartphone: A survey from a contact lens company found that women spend half a day longer on their smartphone than with their partner.
If you’re single right now, you should be aware of cuffing season. We’ve written about it before, but VICE just did a pretty bang on summary that made me freak out as a single guy when I read it. Essentially, you have until November 1 to find someone to bunk up with over the winter — but even if you find someone, women will be spending more time with Siri than with you.
A survey conducted by Bausch + Lomb Ultra contact lenses and reported by Evening Standard found that women spend more time on their smartphones than with their partners — a considerable amount more. Women spend an average of 12 hours more a week on their phones than with a loved one, the survey concludes.
When you think about it, this is hardly surprising. Smartphones are used on the job, when out with friends, and yes, even while you’re with your partner, but that sucks and you should stop doing that immediately.
